Here's another update 'cos I can't get to sleep (:
WednesdayWe've been awaiting the arrival of this day for months :D Our post-farewell movie marathon! At eleven, I met Emily at SASA in Plaza Sing to buy the Vera Wang
Princess perfume (: When we were done with that, Emily wrote her letter to Gloria while I decorated the box and arranged the perfume prettily among the shredded tracing paper used for decor.
We took the train to Orchard & extremely intelligently missed our stop (!!) 'cos we were too engaged in our conversation! We met Gloria at the lobby of Hyatt (I know right, way coooool!) and lunched @ Far East without Shimin 'cos she was gonna be late, as usual.
After lunch, we went to Gloria's hotel room which was really comfy/posh. After ogling at the beautiful TOILETS and exploring the conjoined rooms, we started watching Mean Girls on Gloria's tiny laptop! Shimin turned up later in the
tiniest denim skirt we've ever seen (: We spent much time chasing after her & whacking her ass. All the while, she was like, "This is so decent!" Right, I don't wanna elaborate on her even more revealing top. :D
Mean Girls was a blasttt! Especially for Gloria - it's her first time watching it! Shimin & I can memorize half the lines by now (: After Mean Girls, we watched The Prince & Me. It's officially one of my fave movies now! I love it so much, not forgetting the sweet, charming Prince with a H-A-W-T accent who quotes Shakespeare oh-so-sexily! OMG. It's so cry-able too (:
After that, it was She's The Man (: Yep, we can never get sick of that either! We all fell for Channing Tatum all over again..
We planned to watch other chick-flicks like A Cinderella Story, Bridget Jones and A Walk to Remember (that's not a chick-flick!) but Gloria had a family dinner later on ):
After exchanging gifts, taking numerous pictures & a group hug, it was time to bid farewell! We're not sending Gloria off on Friday 'cos she wants to avoid all the tears :( So that was probably the last time I'll get to see her for quite awhile. Oh well, I hope she enjoys Beijing & does well in the international school!
ThursdayAnother fun-filled day it was (: Sakae buffet was much fun, as always. Eden and Becky were starving when they got there. Hazel & I discovered how lousy we were at buffets! :D After 5 plates or something, we started complaining about how full we were!
Hazel was trying to SNAP HER FINGERS to catch the waiter's attention! It's actually pretty effective, if you snap audibly. But the waiter totally glared at her (:
& then window shopping @ Gap/Topshop/Forever 21 at Wisma! Ooh Hazel bought the cool ZIP IT pouch that's Green and Pinkish like a watermelon (:
